How much do blood tests and STD treatment cost?
The blood test is RM200. STD treatment plans start from RM300, subject to the doctor's assessment, diagnosis and treatment needs. Please confirm the test panel and whether consultation, medication and follow-up fees are included.
Does the RM200 blood test detect every STD?
No. A single blood test cannot detect every STD. The tests needed depend on the suspected infection; urine tests or swabs may also be required. Ask the clinic which tests are included in the RM200 panel.
Should I get checked even if I have no symptoms?
Some STDs cause no symptoms. Speak with a doctor if you may have been exposed or your partner has a confirmed infection. Test timing matters, as very recent infections may not be detected yet and repeat testing may be needed.
Are female and male doctors available?
Yes. Female and male doctors, including Indian doctors, are available subject to the duty schedule. Contact the clinic first to check your preferred doctor's availability.
How long does treatment for gonorrhoea, syphilis and herpes take?
Treatment and follow-up vary depending on the diagnosis, stage of infection and response to treatment. Your doctor will explain a suitable plan. Herpes treatment manages symptoms; it does not eliminate the virus.
Does my partner need to get checked?
Depending on the diagnosis, your doctor may recommend testing or treatment for your partner. Follow medical advice about sexual activity during treatment and when it is safe to resume.
Do I need to share personal details on WhatsApp?
